Sales Manager
The position will manage sales activities including supervision of contracts, direct sales, customer relations, vendor relations, and related financial performance. The Sales Manager will also supervise Territory Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Technicians, monitoring sales in relation to goals. This is a full-time, salaried position and will report directly to the President of the company.
Responsibilities
- Manage sales efforts, including activities of sales representatives, negotiation and sales functions, and monitoring of contracts.
- Develop and supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs. Prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities
- Supervise personnel which includes recommendations for hiring, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
- Sell to and maintain contact with major accounts; promote positive relations with outlets, wholesalers, vendors, and other distributors.
- Participate with Executive Staff in the development of department goals and objectives; recommend, implement, and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
- Assist in the annual budget planning process and regularly monitor expenditures.
- Analyze and appraise the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results; approve display content and costs for showings requested by sales representatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong personal, communication and mathematical skills
- Travel availability up to 50%
- Electrical product knowledge a plus
Field Service Technician - Northeast Region
Northern Kentucky manufacturer of medical power safety and wire management systems is looking for a qualified addition to our Team.
This is a full-time, salaried position and will report to the Sales Manager. Successful candidates will live in, or relocate to the Philadelphia, PA area.
The Field Service Technician will perform start-up testing of equipment, train end users, and supply equipment maintenance and upgrades to Hospitals and Surgery Centers. This individual will leverage close customer contact and technical knowledge to generate new business. They will assess potential application of company products/services and offer solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site commission and annual maintenance testing of power distribution equipment for Health Care Facilities according to NFPA 99 standard
- Increase revenue by signing facilities to annual testing and maintenance contracts
- Develop new business relationships with facility administration and maintenance personnel
- Maintain strong product knowledge and drive sales of retro-fit and custom applications
- Train installation contractors and hospital staff on proper use and maintenance of systems
- Create field test report document packages
- Report customer feedback for quality, marketing, and new product development
- Provide technical product support over the phone and in person
- Trouble-shoot and perform basic warranty analysis and repair
Qualifications
- 2-year Associates Degree in Electrical Maintenance or similar technical field with 5-10 years experience
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code and safe electrical installation and testing techniques
- Demonstrated experience producing sales of electrical products
- Strong personal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of communications networking
- Biomedical or hospital facility maintenance experience a plus
- Travel: 60-80%
- Clean driving record
Electronics Technician
Local tri-state manufacturer of medical power safety and wire management systems is looking for a qualified addition to our manufacturing department. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Assembly, programming, calibration, test, trouble-shooting, and repair of all PGL electronic products and components including: LIM's (all versions), clock timers, control circuit boards, test devices, relay/plc control systems, and various new products as required
- RMA and warranty analysis and repair of above products
- QC Inspection of medical product assembly line
- Assist in other assembly processes as required by Production Manager
- Setup and programming of computerized production equipment; label maker, engraver, CNC tools, etc.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits at PCB and component level
- Basic familiarity with micro-processor programming process
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Ability to trace and trouble-shoot complex electronic circuit boards
- Proficient with electrical/electronic test equipment such as: Digital Multi Meter, oscilloscope, insulation resistance & hi-pot test sets.
- Ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or 2-3 years related experience
