The DIDP Duplex Isolated Power
Panel contains two separate isolated
power systems in one enclosure.
A divider from top to bottom
separates each system from each
other. Both systems contain the basic
elements of an isolated power
systemshielded isolation transformer,
line isolation monitor, circuit
breaker panel and ground bus.
The DIDP can be mounted inside
or outside of the operating room. If
it is mounted outside of the operating
room a remote annunciator must
be mounted inside the room in accordance
with the NEC.
The DIDP is most often used to supply
Emergency and Normal power
to the 120 volt service to receptacles
in the operating room. The
size of each transformer and number
of branch breakers can be
specified per each hospital's application.
Another use of the DIDP
can be for 120 volt system and 208,
220 or 240 volt system.
