The Model IDC Isolated Power Center is designed for quick and simple field installation.
The back box is installed first,
during the "roughing-in" phase, allowing the contractor to mount the box as the walls are
being erected. The back box must be located in accordance with NEC requirements.
The subpanel and front trim are installed during the "final" construction phase.
The transformer, LIM, circuit breakers, and all other components are preassembled on the
subpanel and wired at the factory. The contractor needs only to mount the subpanel inside the
back box and connect the primary feeder, branch circuits and signal conductors. Ample space is
provided for field wiring.
Field checkout, equipment certification and staff orientation by a PG LIFELINK factory
representative is available.
